EVO vs 88 .. Considering an FLSTS for a second scoot purchase. any pros/cons going with EVO or TwinCam. I have a 1998 that I will be looking at with 2K miles, black/red. But, after looking at history and specs, the 2000 has new design, one of which is the TwinCam, and including frame changes, etc. So, not sure what direction to take.

This might sound like a silly question but I'm looking to buy the Nexstar Evolution either 8' or 9.25' and I'm just curious to know if there is much difference in the optics between the two? Obviously the 9.25 inch will be better but is that extra 1.25' worth the extra money or would getting the 8 inch and also spending a bit more on eyepieces

Start with an Evo 9 engine / turbo on a bench dyno. Swap with Evo 6 RS turbo / manifold / cams and dyno again. Remove MIVEC head and dyno again. Wonder what those results would be assuming you re-mapped before each test.
